My Story
Hello my name is Chrystal Hillis and this is my Scentsy Story...I started Scentsy for the sheer fact that I was collecting large orders and turning them into a lady who was I am sure making good money from me. I decided that I no longer wanted to be the “middle man” and decided that I would inquire on what it would take for me to become a Scentsy Consultant. After I spoke with my now director she explained that the starting cost was only $99.00. I couldn't believe it. I thought that the cost would be much more considering most direct selling businesses charge a whole lot more. She went on to explain that when joining the Scentsy family and paying your $99.00 you get everything that you need to start selling it yourself right away. I decided to give it a go and sure enough I got my box within a few days and was able to start showing off my brand new scents. The box came with all of the necessities such as party testers that allow each person to smell what they are buying, order forms, so you can keep track of what people want to order, catalogs, a large sized warmer a, a bar, a room spray etc. This was AWESOME!!! I began going to my families houses right away. As I sit with my family smelling all of these new smells that I had just received in my starter kit I began to realize how important different smells are to each and every person that they come into contact with. Whether you are a man or a woman you can enjoy each smell differently and each one will remind you of something Grandma’s house, that smell that you loved when you were a little kid, the outdoor freshness in the summer or just the wonderful smell of the holidays. Now that I am more involved in Scentsy and have been an active part of my team ”For Heaven Scents”(Thank you Peapod-Grandpa, for helping my team have a name) I also get the joy of being able to meet a ton of wonderful people that will help me build my business in any way possible. I have had the opportunity to go to Scentsy World Tour, Scentsy Convention, and Spring Sprint this year and it has been a blast. Over all my true love besides my boyfriend :-) is the traveling that Scentsy is allowing me to do.
